NEW YORK – Alerting piece by Cathy Young at The Observer.[i] Yet something is (still) missing: These ‘Social Justice Warriors’ (SJW) are not just terrorizing Americans; they are also on a global mission to ‘shame’ and ‘blame’ foreign nations, their governments, and their people.
Only that abroad, because of US ‘hard and soft power’, those Social Justice Warriors –be they feminazis, press soldiers, or pretentious “human rights activists,” etc.–feel lawless and completely invincible: They know that they are backed not just by the US military complex, but also by a vindictive US media, a compliant American academia, and most Western Non-Governmental-Organizations or “NGOs,” which, come to speak of them, mostly are harbingers of complete westernization.
So, while Cathy Young and other national critics insist that Americans are having a difficult time fighting off this SJW totalitarian menace on American soil (talking about trigger warnings, safe spaces, and character assassinations in schools and university campuses) elsewhere in the world the menace is precisely instrumental in crushing anybody we Westerners don’t like. Which could be anyone, but hopefully it will be foreign leaders or foreign competitors. And the Warriors are doing it, say, by constantly accusing the Japanese or the Chinese or the Russian governments of rampant sexism and the oppression of their minorities. After all, ‘Social Justice Warriors’ started off as an all-American movement; it is ‘made in the USA’. Unsurprisingly, proud Americans will fiercely defend SJW abroad, even if they disapprove of them in America.
So, just the like Red Guards were useful to Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution in China; the Social Justice Warriors are useful to Washington’s Cultural Revolution abroad. Here’s a piece on how the Social Justice Warriors terrorized Denmark for “having offended” a Chinese token dissident’s feelings.[ii] Here’s another piece on how the Social Justice Warriors systematically shame Chinese women for seeking early marriage.[iii] Here’s yet another piece on how the Social Justice Warriors fabricate “dissidents” and “saviors” in China useful to the Western cause.[iv] The list is endless.
How can SJW dispatched to foreign lands be so assured of Washington’s political (and even military) support? Because the Social Justice Warriors are scoring against our ideological enemies, that’s why! [For example, here: The rising Cult of the China Experts][v] Accordingly, much like a grand American inquisition descending upon the Empire’s fringes, Social Justice Warriors swarm out on a planetary cleansing mission to prosecute people whom they accuse of practicing “injustice” – much in caricature of how the medieval Church once prosecuted people whom it accused of doing “devil’s work,” which could be anybody.
The Social Justice Warriors simply call “oppression” or “censorship” or “sexism” or “racism” on absolutely EVERYTHING and EVERYONE in Asia they disapprove of. And they will collude with our sensation-seeking media, with sensation-seeking NGOs, or with any sensation-seeking local minority groups, and do whatever it takes, from staging protests, to inciting civil disobedience, to applauding sects and cults, criminals and gangsters, just for the adrenalin rush, just to manufacture maximum drama, just to cause as much disruption to as many people as possible, or to bring ruin to any individual that’s critical of them. Anything that could potentially attract the media, because the media means celebrity and fame.
And our Christian god beware if those nasty foreign locals say anything back to our Western crusaders, if local authorities accuse the Social Justice Warriors from the West of hypocrisy and double standards. Then, our Social Justice Warriors will cry “I’m so offended by this,” upon which our Western media will demonize that land and canonize those brave Social Justice Warriors as “saints” and “martyrs.” What I’m saying is that the Social Justice Warriors aren’t just the vanguard of a rising American totalitarianism; they are already a violent global totalitarian movement.
